I have learned one very significant lesson in life. The strength of your fight against oppression escalates with the strength of oppressive forces themselves. No wrong is unbeatable. Righting the wrong may be unachievable due to limitations such as diverse culture and language or financial hardship, and fear of losing your job, but it can be done. It has been done. I have worked with some of Perth's highest esteemed Barristers and legal professionals. I have seen them succeed, and I have contributed to that success. The bigger the struggle with oppression - the stronger the fight. That is my philosophy.

Often, the more senior the professional role of the individual challenging you with their oppressive conduct, the more significantly oppressive that conduct will be, and the more frightening it becomes to fight back against it.

 

Oppression is a brutal enemy. Oppression can hit hard, and at these times, getting back up feels like an absolutely insurmountable nightmare. I get it, I have lived through family violence, I have been fired from my job due to chronic illness. I have cried, I have wondered how life can throw us so many horrid curveballs. But, I am extremely bright, I have tenacity, I am a fighter. I fight with my intellect. And I do not fight unless I know I can win. I admit when I am wrong. But I am never beaten.

I have been blessed with intelligence, competence, confidence, and a very strong moral compass. I worked in family law, in domestic and family violence, in criminal injuries compensation, in negligence, including medical negligence. No person is beyond reproach. Every person is accountable for their actions against others. This should never come at unreachable cost.

For this reason, as a qualified Paralegal Consultant, I hope to bring support to those who have an overwhelming entitlement to justice, at an achievable cost.
